Saw an ad in "Maxi s" about a new boy bar in BKK. It is situated in a soi off Suriwong street....soi Wall Street if I remeber correctly. Opposite Montien Hotel and Kasikorn Bank. Anyone been there? I could only have a look from outside at daytime last Tuesday and it looks nice. They have a website , too but I do not remember the exact name.....

It's not really new, has been open at least six months.
I went there last August, and found myself the only customer..... but it was raining outside, so I stayed. Nice boys but very pushy mama-san, and the prices quite steep, drinks and off. ( and I usually never complain about prices). But for no show, the boys stop pretending dancing as soon as you buy a drink to one of them.... There are far better options on the other side of Surawong. Pity because the decoration is good.

Thanks for the reply, I thought it was a new bar bec. I d never heard about it. Their business seems to go not very well, bec. there was a "voucher" added in "Maxi s" with which you could get a free off from Friday to Sunday. The boys on the pictures looked nice, do they "dance" in the usal white briefs? I will give it a try next time.

Visited one time only, about three months ago, about 10 boys only, expensive drinks, poor, disorganized and very slow service, mamasan more focused on herself than customers. Still had an 80% full beer glass but mamasan already started to push for me to buy a second beer and a drink for her. No deal. 70% of staff were full-on loudmouth ladyboys (not my style at all, but each to his own), and a few more masculine boys who were all trying to get the attention of the two other customers - 2 Japanese girls.
I'm surprised it's still open, not on my return list.

Sounds like a place I'll avoid. I hate, hate, hate those pushy, queeny mamasan types, especially when they are pushing drinks. Those fools don't seem to have any idea how to deal with western customers. I'd love to find a new go-go bar, or three. Very tired of the same drab places and aging faces.

There had been very recent change of ownership. New staff and quite a few new boys. Give it another try, pushy is out now. The upstairs room are now for short time. I had a discussion with the owner and they were thinking about 500B for the rooms but I said that's too much, given the Suriwong around the corner is 300, they might reconsider the price.
The new mamasan's name is Sam and she's quite nice, I've know her/him for years. Drinks 200 and off 500 but the new management is flexible and that's not engraved in stone. Bottles prices are reasonable.

Dropped by this bar last Saturday night, almost as a last resort. Had visited Super A, Screw Boy, and Hot Male, and hadn't seen much of anything worth a second glance. Slim pickings indeed. So we found this Heartbeat Boys, down that side soi on the right side, before the hotel. I asked "How Much" for drinks before walking inside, having learned many years ago that this is the best prevention from getting fleeced. They told me 250 baht, and I countered with "My friend said it was 200 baht." They nodded okay, and we went inside. About a dozen guys onstage in briefs dancing. Looked promising. But after 10 minutes, and then 20 minutes, it was apparent that there was no rotation system; this was all they had! Not horrible, but not overly impressive either. The dancers were on the younger side, late teens and early 20s (as opposed to some of the guys in other bars who were clearly over 30), and most on the thin to scrawny side of things. No body builders here, which is fine by fine. I prefer the thin and natural body types, I only wished this bunch was better looking. The couple that DID look good had unfortunate hairdos; the sort of gelled hair that might poke your eye out. Not very tempting. Another impression; I thought the waiters were cuter than the dancers. That alone may be worth going back for!

I've gone back to this bar twice in the past month. Quite pleased overall. I offed a waiter the first time and nobody the second time. The waiter was cute, from Myanmar, and had a great personality, and a nice smooth body. Unfortunately, he didn't do much of anything except lay there and expect to be serviced. I went back the second time, hoping to off another dancer that had caught my eye the previous trip, but he wasn't around. But there was some other eye candy there, the types I like; younger and on the thin side. A few were too fem for my liking, but others were quite attractive. It also seems that 3 or 4 show up later, after 9:30 pm, so it pays to hang out for a while. The only thing that still annoys me about this place is the management. They still try and get you to pay 250 baht for a drink. I always ask them to make it 200 baht and they will. But one time I was going to buy a drink for the boy sitting with me, and the mamasan, or whatever he calls himself, told me that the boy's drink would be 250 baht. I told him: NO. He conferred with the kid and they agreed on the lower price. Not a huge problem, but I find it annoying that I have to bargain for drinks every time I go there.

With limited choice of late night host bars, I popped into Super A about 11 last night (as I was again staying at Le Meridien.) They've added disco style lighting (which over-comes the otherwise drab / grotty decor) and were well stocked with about a dozen reasonable looking twinkies - however none of them hit the spot with me.
One of the older ones there suggested Solid had re-opened in Soi Twighlight (upstairs half way down the left hand side) so I headed there to check it out. It proved to be wrong, as verified by the ex Solid manager (he of the over-sized jacket) who is running an open beer bar half way down the right hand side. Avoiding all the pushy touts, I continued down the soi, and saw Classic Boys - once a popular venue I had 'oft frequented. Beer was priced at 300, but after a brief haggle I was offered 250 so went on in. Inside unchanged, and they still have a traditional cabaret show, plus (I'd completely forgotten ) a "fish tank" swimming show. I watched this in awe as an extremely well endowed young man gave a very impressive demonstration and new meaning to "up periscope" After the show a good selection of about 18 nicely presented twinks appeared, including one with very Chinese features, a slim 20 y.o. upper body, attractive "come to bed" eyes and smile, - and the thighs of a down-hill skier. Needless to say I had to sample those thighs, which I later found lead to one of the biggest cocks I've had the pleasure or pleasuring. He turned out to be a top, but agreed on this occasion to return the favour. So a fun night was had by all - and I'd recommend giving Classic a try (at slightly lower cost than the other Twighlight bars.)

-- Khun Biggles, -- As you observed, but didn't not write, the touts are o-riented to Suriwong rd. - hence the hassles for those approaching thence. - Instead make a detour and enter from Rama IV. rd., (the 'Back Ent'ce.', as it were, (surely no problem for a man such as yourself - ha! ). That way you will blind-side those pushy touts and avoid their hassling you. -- Verb. sap.. --

Biggles and Sextile are correct; entering from the Rama 4 entrance to that soi is a good way to avoid the aggressive touts ... at least until they become aware of you. Good tip on Classic Boys. I haven't been inside in a few years --- in the past, the offerings there were too much on the feminine side for my tastes --- but it sounds like it may be worth a visit again.
