R3 Sauna-new sauna in Phra Rama 9

Just went this afternoon for a quick visit. It's right behind Tesco, pretty easy to find on their website. Here is their promo for August and September; 80 Baht entry if you send them a message with a Line ID. Event/Promotion
It's a pretty nice/ new place, and they definitely spent some money on it. It's not as fancy as Chakran or Babylon when they opened, but still pretty nice. Weird layout that requires lots of up and down various stairs to go anywhere.
There is a customer "counter' on their website that is likely fake, since it said that already 350 people had entered today; at 415pm when I entered there were about 30-35 people there.... but anyway, the crowd was varied, with plenty of guys in their 20s and 30s, and a few in their 40s. I was the only farang there but did feel welcome; I really like that their website has Thai, English, Japanese, and Chinese.
And I also felt welcome because within an hour I'd already sucked off a 30yo guy with a great body, and then two guys pulled me into a room and spit-roasted me till all 3 of us came.
So a good time was had by all.
I don't want to say that every foreigner here will have fun like that, I don't like it when older/out of shape farang in Thailand don't get laid they blame it on the sauna/bar being "sticky rice". I have found that lots of Thai guys are interested in me since I've gotten in better shape--not just because I'm white. But YMMV.

But just FYI I'm 45yo, told I look younger (but who's told they look older?), in good shape, etc. So if you're a guy in your 40s who's in good or great shape, you'll likely have fun.

will try when I get back in BKK. Another New one, Rush, in Sukhumvit 48. I am nearer to 60 than 50 but have found that a smile and personality can often make up for not being younger.

Lol I'm making no judgements on age or body type; but when I review someplace and say I got lucky, I do think it's worth mentioning I'm in decent shape--I just read these Thailand forums a bit and end up seeing more guys write off a place as "sticky rice" when the guys aren't interested in old, out of shape guys and blame it on their white skin. Have you ever watched TV or been to a mall in Thailand? That white skin is prized, so if you're not getting any, it's not because of your white skin

R3 Sauna

I had a look at the website for this new sauna and it looks interesting. It is very unusual for a sauna to have 24 hr opening in BKK. The facilities look very impressive.

I think the customer counter on the website refers to the number of visitors to the website not to the actual sauna.

I have to agree with Midwestbttmboy32; I don't think many places are actually 'sticky rice', it is more a case of young attractive Thai guys not fancying older guys whatever their colour. I am sure in most BKK saunas if you are an attractive, young farang then you get lots of attention. Sadly I wasn't visiting saunas when I was that age

It is amazing just how many saunas there are in BKK, far more than in large UK or European cities.

GG Sauna seems to have been updated a bit since I was last there a few months ago. Many more cubicles upstairs, some renovations in the showers, etc.

It is still the domain of Thai daddies, uncles, and grandpas...and their admirers. I saw a guy walking around listening to a transistor radio (!) who was a dead-ringer for Gen. Prem.

They no longer have massage available there.

more changes: TROY-Lard Prao soi 5, is reportedly now closed
Old Cruising 2, former Sukhothai is renamed now as OUT. But a renovation would have been more in place.
Fpor above: best it to look at the Thai sites as gthai.net and mangosociety for possible announcements and special evenings
d-blu, the new one near Silom gets few customers. Seems now to change course and offers massage- may have moved again by the time you make it there.

had a good night at Beach Khon Kaen. Friendly bunch, naked night saturday. However, I defy anyone to find Mun-Day sauna. I walked around U Inn hotel area (their website indicated it was next to the hotel), asked the desk girls to call them for me but the people at the other end said it had finished. Dolphins massage - handsome well built Man too many tatts for me but ok.

Men Factory Saturday night. Poor show but the dancers go to a cubicle to be sucked and played with. Not a smile or comment from them.

Inveterate cocksuckers (yours truly not excepted) might be interested to note that Sansuk Sauna in Pattaya has added six interconnected glory hole booths on the third floor, near the stairs leading up to the attic dark room.

Inveterate cocksuckers with bad knees (yours truly not excepted) might be pleased to find that said glory hole booths feature plastic stools upon which to sit.

The only downside is that at this place you are more likely to get a geriatric Russian cock in your mouth than a hot young Thai one.

Ah, well.

I am not sure if I posted this somewhere here but I really had a nice time in Chiang Mai at House of Male, the place that could be a small-town Babylon... essentially a very old Thai style house with some dark room play areas, a pretty nice pool area, and plenty of farangs in their 50s and up. Went twice, once on a weekend and once on the 2-for-1 night, and the cheaper night was very busy even though I think it was a weekday. It's a pleasant place to spend a few hours, with pretty friendly guys. When it's empty it's very quiet. On the quiet night I went, like 5-7pm, there were maybe 20 guys total; on the busier night there were more like 50+ guys. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey Gregvc, can you please post some details about your visit to The Beach Sauna in Khon Kaen? I ended up finding a very hot 20yo KKU student to play with for my time there, so didn't venture to the sauna, but will be back early next year so would love a complete review when you have a chance--no rush. Thanks!

It's fine for foreigners, just like any other place. Though you might not have so much fun if you are over 40 and not in really good shape.
