Hi Josh!
I just spent all of July working (just 9-12 weekdays) in Singapore. Most weekends I was out of town, but I was around weekdays. I find it even easier to find guys than in BKK (and there is never a question of whether money is involved; in fact, despite my insistence, dinners were often paid for by the locals).
I went to a few saunas: Raw is a dump, but is open early (3pm I think) and is only S$8 before evening, so a good place to bring someone for a quickie but not the best place to cruise around, unless you're into 40-50 year old, out-of-shape guys. (Not my taste, but everyone is different).

Towel Club is the newest, nicest sauna, and also one of the larger ones; I wouldn't say that it's "Sticky Rice", since I saw some foreigners playing with locals; however, I found locals to be less aggressive, and I ended up playing with 3 guys: a Bahraini (!), a French guy, and an Australian of Peruvian descent (!). Interesting mix, huh? The place has a darkroom, large steam room, and a number of cabins for some privacy.

As for public cruising, I'd recommend still Raffles Place shopping mall, but there is mall security, so take your purchase elsewhere, if you know what I mean. I have met some gorgeous guys just about everywhere in S'pore, and this year was no exception.
If you're in good shape (I've got some muscle, but am not in perfect shape--like a 33" waist, some fat around the middle, but in decent shape), California Fitness is full of gay guys, but don't play in the showers unless you are very careful. There is some overt cruising there, however, as well, but also two "uncles" who clean the showers--but who are essentially there to just hang out so guys don't play, I think.

Gay.com is usually full of cruisers looking for foreigners-- you will meet someone within an hour or two, if you have your own place to play. Locals tend to know "everyone" if they are into the local scene, so they seem to like messing with visitors in hotels, since nobody will see them. If you don't have a place to play, then the saunas are ok.

As for dance clubs, there is a really cool, no-smoking bar called Mox (I think), on the 4th floor, in a cool renovated older building (smoking is allowed on the balcony the curves all the way around the bar, though), just near the Maxwell Hawker Food Court, upstairs but on the corner from "Happy", the bigger dance club that guys go to later (after drinks at Mox, starting around 11pm, they head to Happy after maybe midnight--bar hours are MUCH later than BKK, which to be honest didn't work for me because I had to work early in the morning, so I usually just used the internet to meet guys)
The best, and easiest, place for me to meet men was on www.fridae.com the local gay web site. Sign up for a 1-week or 1-month membership, post a personal ad with a good pic of yourself, and you will be INUNDATED with replies. To be honest, I was meeting 2 guys a day: One in the afternoon, one in the evening--and still couldn't keep up with the replies to my ad. I got over 100 replies in the month I was there, and also was sent about 200 "hearts", which are essentially a "hello" without text. If you're interested, you can reply with a heart to them.
The average guy who replied to my ad was about 27yo, in shape, often very muscular, educated, and very sexual.... oh my goodness! Lots of fun in S'pore. I will be back next July for another month...can't wait!

I think Raw is open 24 hours, isn't it? One thing I do like about it is that it isn't purely the domain of Singaporean Chinese. It's the only Singapore sauna where I've found a decent selection of Malay and Indian-Singaporeans.

I finally made it to The Box -- now renamed Shogun -- last time I was in Singapore. From tales I'd heard, I was expecting a no-holds barred sex club. What I found, though, was a dead sauna without the sauna facilities. Pretty pathetic.

For saunas, I still like One-Seven the best.

Good point, Icon--Raw is the only place I found Indian guys, though they were older. In fact, if you want to really have a great visual experience, bu sure to head to Little India any evening after about 8pm, and hang out around Mustafa's--a department store on Serangoon Road. You might meet someone slightly drunk who wants to be taken care of. If not, the eye candy is nice to enjoy.
But Sunday late afternoon and into the later evening is the real deal: you will be completely blown away by the--LITERALLY--tens of thousands of South Asian men hanging around outside, just go to the Farrer Park MRT station and follow the hordes of Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi guys who get off the train there too.
I was stared at and cruised a several times, but it's hard to meet anyone since they're usually with their friends and VERY discreet. But I did meet one North Indian guy who wanted 3 BJs a day for the last few weeks I was there. It was the least I could do......Yummy!
Finally, there is a cruisy restroom above the Hawker Center on Serangood Road (I can't remember the name of the place, but I found it on ****** dot org), where I managed to blow 2 Indian guysin the toilets. But be careful there, since there are cleaners around too.

YES ! RAW is open for 24 hours .

When I stayed at the Barracks last month ,
I found quite a few younger Indian looking guys there .
And one of them gave me great BJ .

They have some young Indian employees too .
They usually work with a very thin white bath towel
around their waists .
Very eye catching .

Raffles Place was really cruisy ,
but better take your guy(s) to the nearby , TOWEL CLUB
for further hotter actions .

What is your price range on hotels in S'pore? I have gotten the Marriott on Orchard Road (a great location, across the street from Orchard Station) for about US$70-85 (no breakfast, but Delifrance and Starbucks everywhere nearby) on Priceline. Also asiarooms dot com is great for prices. Holiday Inn Atrium is quite cheap for what it offers (S$119, sometimes incl. breakfast), while if you can afford it the Swissotel the Stamford (US$107 incl. breakfast) is in a great location for cruising--there are always guys hanging around the shopping mall connected; and the gym is as cruisy as it gets, with all the Flight Attendants (QF/BA and more) staying there; in fact I met one hugely muscular Vietnamese/Aussie Flight Attendant from Qantas at a bar, but we were both staying at the Swissotel, so we went back right away!
It's also nicely convenient to the MRT station below it, and shopping and eating is everywhere.
As for cheapies, there is always the Hotel 81 chain of by-the-hour places with windowless rooms in dodgy neighborhoods for about US$30 per night. I'd spend the money for somewhere nicer, though, if you can. Let me know if you have any more questions!

thanks! I just booked the Swissotel about an hour ago- not having read ur post. I guessed it must be good near underground and cruising areas. Price is about the same I am happy with hotelclub.com they have fair deals. If ur patient and can wait till the last moment they usually have bargains also and u can build up money points each time u book

Good for you! The hotel has great views if you can get a higher floor, couldn't hurt to ask. Also the sauna and steam in the gym are cruisy, but I wouldn't play there--take it up to your room--since I'm sure the attendants know what's going on. Just like in the mall, where there is security around, take it upstairs, or at least to a nearby building, where there is less security.
I think the hotel shares its pool with the Swissotel Plaza, if it does it is a nice, spacious pool area. I don't remember it as cruisy, but you never know.
If you're in S'pore on a Sunday evening, be sure to check out the scene in Little India--it's not likely you'll come away with a new boyfriend, but once they're drunk some of them might come up and start talking to you.

As for good, cheap food, there is a good food court (with local hawkers all in a clean, safe environment) at the mall attached to the Swissotel. Very little reason to eat in a restaurant with waiters when local food is so good and cheap, unless you are trying to impress someone.
