You can never use the word "all" when talking about a massage stable of 20 or 30 or 50 boys. Luck still pays a big part in how things turn out.

All explained by an over the top mamasan (who I've never seen anywhere before) who assumed that I was a first day tourist and totally stupid (although the conversation was totally in Thai language and I had already mentioned the soi where i live in Bkk).

I know that many Thai customers like the 'mamasan' act, but to be honest it turns me right off. Yesterday the mamasan was focused totally on 'herself', trying to actually close the sale was not even on 'her' agenda. 'Tip for me' started as soon as she plonked 'herself' down by my side, uninvited.

Xfun - your description of a V-club experience ties in with mine.

However, I'd like to echo icon513 - my first visit to Adonis, maybe 5 years ago, was a disaster. The second was so-so. It's only the last few where I seem to have hit on some lucky choices. I know I myself have reviewed Adonis positively (based on the more recent visits), but nothing is ever assured in these places.

The only thing one can reasonably control is to choose places that do not charge stratospheric prices, so that even if it's a dud, you don't lose as much as in places like V-club and Senso that think extremely highly of themselves, yet whose service quality is not any better than the rest.

Went there on Thursday afternoon, new manager, a (real) lady, speaks good English.

Now have curtain right across the area where the boys sit.

Manager claimed they had 24 boys on the premises that day, and 2 were upstairs with clients. Asked to see the boys but she said no, must choose from the photo album, which contains photos of 3 boys (yes this is not very logical).

I asked to see two of the boys in the photos, both looked nothing like the photos and were not interesting to me. Then a young man appeared with a glass of water and I chose him.

Selected boy escorted me upstairs, asked me to take a shower and he would be back. He came back 20 minutes later still talking on his mobile.

Total waste of time, massage was poor, no other action whatever, would not take off his pants, starting asking for 2,000Baht from the moment he returned.

Halfway through the massage he indicated he had to call a friend and disappeared out of the room for about 10 minutes. At end of massage I gave him 500Baht, he asked for more but I refused.

On return to the ground floor the curtain was open but was quickly closed, and indeed they did have more than 20 boys.

Massage fee was 500Baht.

Off my list.

I had a similar experience at GM two weeks ago-- There was no one to help when I arrived-- one of the guys in the book was acting as the host, and eventually he came to help me. He was not available although he was in the book--It seemed only one of the guys in the book was available. A waste of time. I was left alone in a not so nice room--waited about 10 minutes. It stops at K-Male right at the Drive-Thru McDonald's/ValuMart. (about 2 kms from Laksi IT). You could walk from Laksi also...along Changwattana, away from Immigration.
