In Yokyakarta (location of the currently-erupting Mount Merapi), there were some such spots on the main street and occasional cruisers on the sidewalk. But that was many years ago. Does the Saturday edition of The Jakarta Post still have classifieds for male massages?

It is a reasonable walk (700 meters) from Lhad Prao MRT station going east on L Phrao.

They have a small reception area just inside the door with a pleasant manager sitting there. I asked for Khun Mod and he showed me a photo of him to double check. Then called him from inside. He was at least as pleasant as his picture on the web.
I was offered an oil massage at Bht350 for an hour or Bht500 for 1.5 hrs.. A Thai massage was Bht250/hour plus a few combinations being available.
Mod took me through the back and up 2 flights of carpeted stairs to a room (8' x 10' with 7' high dividers) with locks on the inside of the door. The was a mattress on a raised plinth on the floor.

I showered alone in a big bathroom with fast-flowing hot water. While walking up the stairs and around, I passed several doable boys either alone or with equally cute customers, going in and out of various doors. It reminded me of a small sauna in that respect. It was almost my ultimate dream come true...a sauna with money boys on tap.

Anyhow, Mod appeared from a shower and joined me in the room..where he removed his towel before climbing aboard and giving me a really good and lengthy massage with just a hint of dick rubbing on my buttocks. Eventually, he reached forward and pulled my hand and arm back behind my back to massage the arm, but inadvertently positioned my hand on his crutch. He saves to buy a motosay. He does daily 5-6 turns of 1 or 1,.5 hrs. Once he succeeded me in doing Thai+oil right after. Betwen Phetkasem and Nakorn Ch=aisri the connecting oras are nrd and named as sai 1/2/3/4/5/6. Nr 2 is right behind the ringway (of coimng from town. Sai 3 runs for about 5-6 km. and is right after the Carrefour. The lowest (coming from Phetkasem) is in Nongh Khaem, the 2nd quarter is in bang Khae and the upper half is in Tawanne or so. BUS (red only and not that many ) 165 runs all over it-turns at NkrnChaisri. It starts from the Tha Pra JUNCTION=not the Mall or the Busway or so. Best place to change onto it is the market at Bang Khae. there are also various red songhtheaws from bang Khae market to all kinds of moobaan etc. This may limit the area to search somewhat.
Note that sai 3 has the BKK filth/refuse depots along it in the south half and in dry wheather can be VERY unpleasant. There are very, very few houses along that stretch. Most likely this place is in some new moobaan or village somehwere off the main road and impossibel to find without a decent map.
Lists also tell of a gay mass. palce in bang KHae-in a soi right off the market. or did not you once fancy a place right near the Mall Ta Phra?
BTW-how do you find out about all those faraway places anbd the lads working there? Beside the usual other sites, like th.mass.boy, I would not know.

The massage place in Bangkhai you refer to is possibly Bangkai Thai Massage in Phetkassem soi 62/1. That is near the market. They have a new branch at Suksawat soi 29 called Suksawat Thai Massage. I have seen both but never gone inside as didn't see any boys I liked. Although their Hi5 page does show some do-able boys:

The place I used to frequent near The Mall Thapra is in Ratchada soi 12 called Smart Bank. I believe it is still there. It was pretty good if you liked the boys on offer.
