-- Today, 05 mar., forenoon I walked-by K-WHY MASSAGE PARLOR. and seeing that the front door was OPEN I entered and took a look inside - - I can confirm that it is CLOSED 100%. for sure: it's been gutted and is firmly in the hands of the builders, int'l. decoratora and/or whomever else - looks like it may be that way for quite some time. --

I had a similar experience at Bandung Spa yesterday. It seems to have been converted into some kind of open air bar or restaurant--not gay.
The massage set there included a nice soak in a big tub--I will miss one of the few massage venues on our side of the river.

sorry for you. yes, indeed in Thonburi or anywhere west of the river there seem to be a dearth of those palces. Did you ask if by any chance they did not move to other premises? That also happens quite often with such shops. They got good reviews on this site too.

-- A couple or so days ago, and acting upon a suggestion rec'd. from a valued friend of mine, I visited PARADIS DAY SPA.,
- addr.: Silom soi 2 Bang rak, BKK. 10500.; - BTS./MRT.: Sala Daeng, (S2.)/Silom; - tel.: (02)-632 9730.; web: > Sesa Cosmetics < -- ETA. approx. 15.50.hrs.; - I was shewn upstairs to Recept'n. by a well-built masseur whose English is quite fair; Recept'n. is spacious, clean & has Oriental decor.; - I looked-at the menu and chose my usual 90mins. & oil-massage - price 999.Bh.! - I was joined by my masseur: 24YO., hails from nr. CHIANG MAI, speaks enough English to get-by and is the 3rd. child of 7.; - We went upstairs and into Room #8., wch. is roughly 12ft. x10ft., clean & well-maintained looking; and has a bath with shower against the farther wall; NB.: the walls do not go UP as far as the ceiling, thus it is perfectly possibly to hear conversations from other rooms, as indeed we did: a v. chatty masseuse and her customer! There is the usual massage-table with clean linen & towels; back-gr. music not too loud; I was helped solicitously into & out of the bath - possibly he was concerned lest this TOF. should slip and injure himself? - After my shower, whose HOT water was HOT and of a strong pressure, and being patted dry I lay-down prone and the massage started; certainly generous with the massage-oil; long & slow strokes that did not favor any particular part of my body. The masseur told me that he'd worked there for quite a long time; so I asked him where he's rec'd. his massage-trg.? A question that he did not answer but pretended not to u'stand. me - confirmed my opinion that possibly his was OTJ. learning, wch. really I would hesitate to recommend. Standing at my head to massage my shoulders he asked me if I'd like to massage him? His masseur's trousers & pants. were removed in quick time to reveal an avg. length, thick & unc'cised. member wch. soon stiffened to something a little better than avg.+ length and of a good & mouth-filling girth. - Afterwards I turned-over to lie supine for him to complete the massage; to be fair this time his att'n. to my shoulders was MORE thorough and probing into the shoulders' muscles; - A final shower, for wch. I was given a fresh & dry towel, and that was that; total time was just over the 90 mins.; - I gave him what I thought was a fair enough TIP., at wch, he looked and jokingly, (?), said that he expected 2K.Bh.! -- At that price, (and the expected TIP jestingly, [?], mentioned.), I would hesitate to recommend that particular masseur and would be MORE careful in future to select a masseur from preferably another customer's word of mouth and one who knows how to give a thorough massage. In short I've enjoyed better & MORE thorough massages from say INDRA MASSAGE - Tnn. Than Tawan, off Suriwong rd.. --

-- On tuesday, 08 mar., my Enthusiastic & American Friend re-visited LIFE-SOURCE MASSAGE PARLOR. at LAKSI; posting #1,280.; - He did not write whether he chose or was allocated a masseur; but his verdict was: 'Totally unmemorable.' - the masseur spoke no English; he requested a 'soft.' massage but left covered in bruises and the after massage pleasures, such as they were, were anything but! -- E&OE. as reported speech. --

This place is the atypical all presentation and no content. I hated this place, the therapist, and the mamasan. They were strange and snooty, and did not seem to appreciate my business (and I'm very easy to please). I would never go there again and highly recommend nobody go there, an awful place!

ASlso re 8 1/2-or eight and a half.
If I remember well, it was again our dear enterprising sextile who tried to find this place and reported it closed. BUT: this website: menmassagethailand.com in the forum shows messages , jan/feb 2554=2011 from this place it is still open, has link to map-shows a side-soi parrallel to Sri Nakarin. Apparently they have done well and also a sakha 2 on Sukhumvit 64, which is way beyond Onnut, toward bangna. However, this is also a long soi with many side and subsois, so it may not be that easy to find. Perhaps the message in Thai tells it is by appointment only.

Last week I visited HERO, first time for maybe 8 months or so. I have been going less frequently because there was close to zero turnover of the staff. But last Thursday evening I was delighted to find perhaps 20 new young men (new to me), all just to my liking (each to their own). A trip worthwhile.

THE BEST MASSAGE by Men
Open 11am - 12pm, 3rd Flr upstairs from KFC. [Ph 02 2379239] Can't remember the name of hte building but it is right beside the Northern side of BTS Sala Daeng with entry between Pizza Hut & KFC Foot massage 250B/Hr which is about the going rate around here. Arrived early afternoon. Mr Nut did the honours and it was a great massage The "mamasan" played for most of the time on his small apparatus of the electronic variety while Nut slave away on my legs. Very quiet at this time of the day. The massage 'chairs' are a little hard being bamboo with a thin cushion. The only negative comment really. They have 'private' rooms with the 3/4 walls and mattress on floor and may be the massage area for feet would not be all that good if there were a lot of others getting it aussi! Might try a takeaway from here but there may be better options...

-- That would be SILOM #64 BLDG., (there is a sky-walk from BTS. Sala Daeng,[S2.], to one of its UPPER floors.), in wch. there's also the GF. BEIRUT REST'T. and Mr. BOBBY's COFFEE BAR & TAKE-AWAY on one's LHS. as one enters. - From what I remember of earlier postings - possibly from khun Yannawa - is that their shower-cubicle(s) is/are v. small - just like 'phone. booths. that one sees on the streets. - Correct, too, about the rooms' partitions not being ceiling high. --
