There is also a new one in soi 101 Lard Prao- name is MEN 101. They seem to have a lot of hunky men former working in oher shops in that general area.
The one roughly opposite the new Govt centre and immigration, subsoi of CheangWattana rd (Cigar men?) seems to have folded also.
The Palermo our dear sextile was naming a few posts above is also quite far out of town: that area is Prawet and lies close to Swampy airport, no easy connection into centretown and also not that near an ARL-station.
ON the gaythailand site has been mentioned another shop, possible this is an incarnation of former JUDO, near the Mall/Pantip 2 along Ngam Wong Wan- LOOKME Spa, soi NgWongWan 30. However I seem to recall it mentioned curtained off massage space, so do not expect too much in non-massage, I guess.
Also quite a few places seem to have upped the hourly rates.
FANclub as mentioned above quite often runs specials-either by flyers distributed by boys along Silom or via coupons printed from the Thaimassageboy site-often for free or just 100 bt/hr for the massage-no discount on the tips!

Had return trips to three massage venues in the Silom area last week.

Arena Massage:
I have been here several times. Usually have a good experience here, sad to say, this time it was not the case.

The number of staff to select from was certainly down from other visits. Perhaps due to the flooding, staff wasn't able to work. There were a few guys though that were certainly a possibility for me. However, while I was talking to the host/manager/captain, the guys just started to walk away. Apparently tired of waiting for me to choose. Quickly the guys in the line-up went from 7-10, to 5-6. Of course the few that I were considering were among those that had walked off.

I hate the line-up, selection process. It's embarrassing for me and for the staff, so I usually try not to look them up and down and back and forth while selecting. Rather, I try to take a quick look and then chat with the captain or look at the menu while deciding versus continue to stare at the line-up.

Anyway, after most of the staff walked off, and I was left to select from no one that interested me, I told the captain apparently they weren't interested in a customer today and left. He looked confused, and I am sure he was. I was surprised they were allowed to just walk off.

I'll be back, i'm sure. One bad experience won't keep me away.

Senso:
The most expensive place in the area, but I have never been disappointed by a massage there. Don't care for the management, their attitude, or most of their policies. But, I know I will find a guy that I like (although usually not many to choose from) and have a good massage experience.

The other reason I come back to Senso are the rooms. I love the large clean rooms, all rooms have a large shower, comfortable for two. Always like to shower before and after with the guy. And I love the large mirrors. Other places have mirrors, but they are too small or positioned wrong. Love to relax with a good massage while watching the guy's beautiful body in the mirror.

Had another good, albeit over-priced massage here.

Adonis:
Like the manager here. Usually they give me a small bottle of water when you arrive and a survey when you leave. This time they did not, perhaps due to the water shortage.

They had a small selection of guys working there. But, I selected a guy I liked and had a great experience. I was only disappointed that it was my last day in BKK. If I had been there longer, i'd have gone back to see the same guy again. When I find a guy I like I like to go back so they remember me. I also find that I get even better service on return visits.

I do wish the rooms were a bit nicer here. I usually ask for the room with the large shower. Most of the rooms have small, corner showers. It wasn't available this time, but they usually accommodate my requests.

I'll be back. Hopefully soon.

Good marks from me for a guy named Few (Fill in the book) a 23/24 yr old farmersson from Lampang, working there for 4yrs and indeed having good experience. When presented he looked quite scruffy, but he has a well-trained soldier/athlete type body, quite dark skin and wolly hairy legs. I asked for someone to give strong massage and force he does have. Can do strong with 1 hand and tease softly with other. he seems to take his job quite seriously and as I think a good masseur is also a good observer, he does look and adapts to what he sees. When he reaches upper legs. ask him to don his underwear+rolled up phaakamaa and he will use his 11th finger as well. Very good in alternate hard/soft strokes, a bit of tease in stopping short and then coming back and a very extensive treatment of your hip-area. Sometimes like Malay-style Barin=of all your private parts too. Spent all the time ordered and came after to shower without asking and did some soapy massage too and even dried me off. Seemed utter pleased with a little more as the advertised min. tip of 600.
