I was recently in Bangkok for a couple of days and decided to check out Senso. As others have mentioned it is more expensive that the others, but you do get a real massage... I went at about 430 and there were only 3 guys available. The mamasan said the others were all occupied. I almost left, but then decided on one who had a nice body and was about the right age and shape I like. So I choose this guy who came yup with me,a 25/26 yr old Viet (half child, I think) paid up, the ''rooms'' were partly fenced off cardboard walls- sharing AC-so with openings and just a think cutrain to the ally. Shower was ok, Tom undressed and turned out to speak excellent english and started up-more like a mix of Thai and oil massage with some for me unknown strokes etc. was happy to talk and a witty person, I am bit wary of VN-many are even more greedy as Chinese, but no mention at all of money was made. He told me to work in a fashion shop in Saigon and learned massage from friends and www and VDO. Was quite good, but lacked the Thai sensual touch. Suddenly it was done and he turned to more serious bisnis-but I felt a bit unease in this place, so the realt thing was not done, but he smoked heavenly. After all this was more a guy to spend an eve with-drink, talk, have fun and end up as those things end. All in all with his tip (he seemed pleasantly surprised) a bit lower even as a Thai session would cost in total.
As now everyone can fly, we found out that he+me use AirAsia this sunday to fly out.

Re Sexy's tale of reaching Seacon (just later I learnt to my surprise about a Pasolini movie as 8,5): this is a non BMTA white+red stripebus, nr 1013 and also-more convenient, picks up at Prakanong BTS=where it starts/ends. Seacon is also served by citybuses 145 (Mochit-bangkapi-Sri Nakarin/HKwang ARL-on to pak Nam) and ther 207 (useless for most) and 206-from Makkasan MRT/ARL

Praise from me for high stanbdard in JEY Spa-Sukhumvit soi 41 (Tops market-just beyond prom Pong/Emporium)-far end of soi. This soi is mainly Japanese and in the sidesoisbare many lower priced Izakaya and boarding houses for khon Yipun.
Jey is affiliated to Albury (same or couple-owners) and boys may roate between the 2. It has a Japanese toch of class in its service standard, though receptionist has limited angkrit (dont know about phaasaa yipun-nihon-go), but some of the boys speak english very well and can help out. Showers are out in the open-bit Balinese style and not all are completely view-proof. Beds are custom made wooden high withfacewells, clean thick towels, nice aroma air under, there is choice of what oil-aroma you want and there is ginger tea and fruits after. Most boys seem to work quite some time there and have good experience. But its a wooden house and thus has easy noise to hear. There is a fotobook with all essentials in it, but no line up (can see boy if so wished). Free motosay ride to road or BTS offered afters (but is just as far as Albury from BTS). 1 hr oil is 500 bt-min. tip same, and there are various packages for more work to your body, scrub and all that.
This visit I seem to be quite lucky in the quality of massages offered in various shops-lets hope it stays that way.

mangosociety advertsies for anew place-maybe not even yet open, in Sukhumvit 31-if you want to go, first find map-this is a long and winding soi, also home of khun Abhisit and has many side-sois. Maybe it simple replaces an older failed place.
It also has a listing of many massageshops and there sem to be even more as I can recall.
I was intrigued by a report oin BIG BIRD (do you remember BIRD of WhiteHouse fame in bangkapi?) as it is also in bangkapi-soi 122=going into ram soi 65, yaek 13, with a clubcard giving disocunts. Strangely when I googled for it, a report in the BKK-post of jan '11 showed up-mentioning this as ''gay massage place''-but praising its food. Anyone out there to check out if khun Bird has started his own bisnis now? Sadly you have to describe to BKKpost to gain access to the article.
