The last time I was in Pattaya to describe the quality of boys in the go go bars as tragic would be charitable. Bangkok was far superior in every way. Other opinions welcome.

All I will add is this. The Boyz Town bars were just a shadow of their former selves. I went one night to Sunee Plaza and all that needs to be said is that if you are into tattooed pubescent anorexics you would have thought you had died and gone to heaven. I will stick to Bangkok.

I have just returned home after three weeks in Thailand including some days in Bangkok (see my previous report on bars in Bangkok). I think that Pattaya is indeed still the best place. There are always a fresh crop of boys. They seem to come straight here from the country. I found Cupidol and Lucky Seven interesting but the best range of boys are to be found at Funny Boys and Toy Boys opposite. The worst selection were at Boys, Boys, Boys. They are just plain ugly! HappyPlace is just as bad. If you want handsome tops then go to A-Bomb but expect to cop the odd straight guy there who will have trouble getting aroused.

The prices in Pattaya are more reasonable than Soi Twilight, although I know of one particularly cute boy from Toy Boys who intends to go to Bangkok to work because the average fee is 3000bht whereas it is 1500 baht in Pattaya. I hope this is not the start of an unwelcome trend.

In my first visits to Pattaya 7-10 years ago the Boys, Boys, Boys bar had some of the most attractive (and numerous!) selection of boys in any go go bar I have encounted in Thailand. The description of the place now by Trentaus accords with mine.

As far as Sydney Boy's comments on Sunnee, generally correct, but Eden has a few really hot gay guys who not only look the part but get right into the action when required.

... but it's a moving target and you just have to hunt around when you visit.
