Have you ever been standing at a urinal in a restaurant, bar, whatever and caught a guy looking at you? Not the look of a cruiser but just some guy that was clearly curious about cock. If you take, an easy, unhurried attitude, and figure out the active spots, you'll soon notice that some dudes just come in, piss, hardly look anywhere, and leave. They are either not interested, busy, scared or hiding... Unless you see them coming back every 5-10 min. disregard them. They are not looking for anything... Simply ignore them.

Then, there are those other guys, who are kinda really taking their time. They are making sure that they get at least a half-hardon before they piss. They are also likely to make sure that they shake it off pretty well afterwards. These dudes are usually looking surreptitiously around. Mimic their behavior. They are not afraid to look. Why should you be afraid to do the same?

Once the place gets quieter, and the guys see little or no danger of being disturbed, the ones who want to have some fun there and then will step back and make sure that the dudes they are interested in see their tools waiting.

This is when you call shots. You either kinda nod, or agree to it with a smile, and take the next step or you pass if who you see ain't to your liking.

Most dudes won't lose much time, and will move into the next free cabin. The others would exchange nods, and go somewhere more private, especially if they are gonna take their time...

Now, make sure that what you are doing is not illegal in your jurisdiction. Learn what to do, and how to behave if the play turns foul. Like with everything else in life, have an exit strategy. Consider taking calculated risks only.

Work on developing your intuition. If it feels wrong, it is probably wrong. Err on the side safety. You are probably NOT going to meet the love of your life under such circumstances. Much of it is just a play coupled with some sexual politics.

Yes, I agree good advice. I cruised two different public toilets with trough urinals. My first was a urinal in the ferndell as a senior in HS. I was a young sexy slut used my older guys. Yep. Individual showers with curtains. Curtains!!! I enjoy the show or being the show and "THEY" are just ruining everything. The old fairgrounds is the only place with the trough style pissers. Most of the parks have walled off the urinals. So unless you are about 6'5 you cant check out your neighbor.

Privacy is a very complex issue.

I see myself as being a lucky guy who grew up in a liberal environment of guys being guys, and having nothing to hide. Nude beach used to be a norm. No one ever thought that there should be anything else but a group shower. (What was there to hide?), etc.

Sure, we did not have the magic of internet. We had a simple, possibly too simple a view of the world. You were either a guy or girl. You used either male lockers or female lockers. With the benefit of the hindsight I now see that we ignored the TG folks, and the people who were unable to decide, choose, determine, whatever.

I can also imagine that some of the guys around me were far less comfy about trotting around buck naked than the bigger jocks. Yet, the peer pressure was there, so they had no choice.

What is needed is a positive attitude towards sexuality. If a dude needs to hide in a stall, or wants to shower in his swimming trunks, or change with a towel around his waist, I am fine with that. He must have his reasons.

The good news is that the usual banter has changed. Gay dudes are dudes, too. Str8 dudes are more likely to show open interest, befriend gay guys, and other way around.

So, instead of the sneaking or not so sneaking peeks, things are a bit more on the open on a different level... This ain't too bad.
