As experienced by one of my friends:

"There are 2 rooms specially for "OFF" use. One on the 1st level and another on the 2nd floor. The one on the 1st level has a shower stall inside. The one of the 2nd floor does not, but outside the room door is a bathroom.

The rooms are the size of an average hotel room, perhaps even bigger than some. There is a small table, 2 chairs but a king-sized bed.

Definitely, comfortable enough for the task at hand! "

Is it a set thing, or is it just 'free-form' appreciation of someone's muscles?

Is it touching or is it just looking and/or taking photos?

If it is touching, where does "muscle worship" stop and massage start?

What is the line between "muscle worship" and actual sex that some Tawan guys draw?

the guy who posted on trevvy was a new member (his first post) mentioning the site. i suspect his guy is has some not so innocent connection with this site. plus 25 bucks for a day's membership? come on.

Is this Tawanasia site run by some 14 yr old kid in Serbia from his bedroom or something? I looked at it today and tried to sign up, but never recieved a return email. (Was the administrator busy with after school activities?).

Has anyone sucessfully gained membership to the site?

On a side note: If you google "Tawanasia" you get baby pictures of a cute little Afro-American girl, apparently called Tawanasia.
Who's going to break it to the parents that they've named their little angel after a gay BKK go-go bar's review site on the internet..??

I agree. Even some of the photos on the information pages are 'old' and out of date. Wichai and Nui for example no longer work there, Nui for over a year - and is Ten really 'aggressive' - he's always been very sweet with me !

I have been a long-time fan of Tawan. I visit at least once on every trip to Bangkok, and I am in BKK about six times a year. First visit to Tawan in 2004. My recent observation suggests the dancers need a bit more discipline.

Before the guys would always take the stage in chronological order. They'd work their way across the stage and exit off the opposite side. This gave everyone in the audience a chance to get a good look at each guy. The stage always seemed to have a consistent number of guys.

Now, they seem to get up on stage if they want to. They just stand around often in the back, or on the side, gazing at their phones. Sometimes there is only two or three guys on stage. Often they will just step up and step back off from the same spot.

The guys used to wear jock-style underwear giving you a great view of some manly asses. Now, they wear briefs, often filled with mobile phones.

There is little turn-over. Many of the guys have been working here since my first visit. Now, those of that like Tawan, like older, mature, masculine guys, but some new, younger guys would be nice.

The time spent waiting for the show now, is long and boring. Need to make some changes, and get back some order and discipline.

Some of the things they still do well though. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and available, but they never hassle you to buy more drinks, buy them drinks, or off a dancer.
I will never understand the ladyboy lip-snyching part of the show, but thankfully they don't do that every night. The rest of the show I enjoy. Lots of naked, hot, manly bodies. The guys have been working on some new routines too. I enjoyed seeing the guys new dance number.

On my visit a few days ago, they didn't have many dancers working that night. I was told it was because of the rain. It had rained briefly, but hard, probably about the time the guys had to make their way work, and it appeared many decided to take a pass on work that night.

I'll be back on my next visit too, at least once. I hope to see some changes some time soon however.

I totally agree with you. Most of the guys stay across the stage or even smoking and talking in the toilet. As many of them work here since my first visit, I don't really need to see them on stage. I already know them but I would nice to have new guys. In Thaibody, there are a lot of new junior bodybuilders, they should try to poach Hero masseurs !

I have written a number of times that my idea of heaven would be the the Tawan boys (at their peak) in a venue like Hero. Interesting that someone is suggesting the reverse! I have not been to Bangkok since January last year but will be back after Christmas. Hero has always been my favourite massage venue but is the current crop of boys really "something special"?

I was in HERO twice the last week of September. Many, many guys to choose from. Both times I was there the place was packed with customers. Once was Friday at 18;00, so it wasn't unexpected. But, the second time was early, 15;30 on Monday. When I walked in there was no place to sit. Also, had many guys working early to select from. I was going to have a repeat with the guy from my previous visit. But, we hasn't there yet and the staff wasn't sure if he would be working that day. So, I selected a different guy and he was great. Good prices, great guys. Wish they had better rooms!
