this was then some stages further as I saw at Hotmail-in fact there were also computers to mail friends then there-I guess thats why I thought it to be hotmail.
also uneven, high and not at all secured steps from the stairs into that room-another hazard if youve alrady had too many in.

-too some time-flew out of BKK since-and its very, very cold and icy here
-I did certainly saw the 22.30 show-I am simply no late partaker. But maybe they have weekday/end variations, or maybe its just how many drinks are sold-and the expense for payment available. TIT-case. Anyway: the last time I went there the soi twyly bars all had ''inhired'' shows-except the various parades of who has what to offer. -I think khun sloot has explained the plan-Bs and Cs for any eventuality very well. I remember the same-same from a very, very long time ago at midnight cowboy-saphan kwai. -I wrote ''unlikely'' mainly for the intruding performer: would any of you who has seen the Hot@mail show ever thought he would be it? but for the rest sloot is again quite right. and sawasdee phmai teung took khun nee, nah!

-- Y'day., (10th.), a'noon. I walked along Soi Naras Thiwat 1. from its i'sect. with Soi Than Tawan, and turned LEFT down the small sub-soi just past SOLID BAR, (and before the GOLDEN C*CK BAR.),.
- I noticed a 'For Rent.' sign on the former ALEC BAR and that NICE BOYS has been renamed IN HOUSE. SUPER A's M'San. told me that IN HOUSE is now a Karaoke Bar; all of the boyz who were there have moved upstairs. - Earlier in the day and farther along Soi Naras Thiwat 1. I saw no activity at the former TUARUS MASSAGE; but flg. Yannawa's above rpt. we'll see what will happen there. -- Bibi.. --

-- During lunch. today, (12th.), my Mature And English Acquaintance mentioned that he took a visiting friend from the USofA. to DREAM BOYS - Soi Twilight: off Suriwong rd. - recently.
- He said that the Bold Show was about the worst that he had seen: three boyz who, after a short time on stage, spent MORE time walking and performing amongst the spectators, (doubtless trying to solicit TIPS?),. - Interestingly enough one of his elderly friends was present, too; for him it was an excellent Bold Show! -- 'Different folks ... .'. -- Bibi.. --

-- Today, (22nd.), I saw some men working indside the former SIAM ANGEL BOY., and stopped to speak with one of them. - Reportedly it'll be a Beer, Coffee and Pool Bar, with a small terrace in front for sitting-out and for watching the boyz passing-by, (the man said nothing about being deafened by the evenings' various barkers, touts and so on - ha!); 'Something different for the Soi.'. was the reply. I pointed-out that there is a pool bar next to MAXI's Bar; in answer the man said that that place has only one table, whereas he plans to have at least three. It'll be a place for both Thais and for farangs to meet. - Planned OPENING will be sometime next month. ... . -- A day or two ago I was talking with an English acquaintance, he used to work in and around Soi Twilight, about SAB. and its loc'n.; we agreed that another bar is possibly one of the the last things that's needed there and especially opposite to FUTURE BOYS with its Stentor. - A possible suggestion from him, and maybe not entirely serious, was the need for a good 'Short Stay Hotel.'? Being right there and on-the-spot, as it were - and thus closer than either BBB. HTL. or the S'WONGSE. HTL. - it could do a roaring trade with the right mngmnt., promo. and so on! - As the late Mr. C. Hilton allegedly replied, when asked about the three chief things for wch. he sought when deciding upon a new hotel: 'Location, location and location.'. -- Bibi. --

Last night I took a visitng Aussie mate to Dick's cafe (Soi Twighlight ) for dinner and a planned bar show visit. Arriving around 9.30 pm we had to fight our way through a sea of yobbish touts yelling at us and pulling us towrds their bars. Seated outside Dicks the continuous bellowing of 2 particularly obnoxiuos louts made conversation impossible, punctuated by the scuffles as rival touts descended on unsuspecting patrons. I have never seen it so bad, and after dinner we left the Soi on principle as we refused to succumb to these louts, and went instaed to Jupiter. It's really time the bar owners slapped down this sort of behaviour which is achieving exactly the opposite of gaining more business.

Agreed. When I was there I thought the carnival barker was a one off and couldn't last.Desperate and off-putting it was.
Strangely,on television, the more crass, loud and vulgar the marketing of a product is this style can find its target. Not for me though.
