- Certainly, for my most recent visit, what I call 'Sauna etiquette.' was being generally observed: a couple of taps on the other's wrist sufficed or else a shake of the hand was enough.
- As for the Jacuzzi having poo mixed with pee & cum I'm not so sure, the last two quite possibly. But I do agree that if one has some dermal infection or abrasions, cuts, contusions etc. then it would be better to stay OUT. But possibly a mixture of pee and of cum would not be unique to B'lon's. Jacuzzi, would it? Maybe a note in the Suggestions' Box requesting INCREASING the chlorination well before opening time might be helpful, even if Cl. can affect one's eyes & skin unless it's had plenty of time to dissipate!

I've met guys from Isan in Babylon. They introduced me to Isan food, which is very similar to Lao food and they laughed as I ate it and sweated my a** off.

I was at Babylon yesterday and it was very busy. I am always amazed at how beautiful it is. I have been to many saunas in the world, and none compare. Where else can you have a coffee shop and restaurant serving world class food and drink a beautiful pool and garden, a gym, saunas and various play spaces and such a wide, diverse selection of men? I'm 50 years old this year, and though my body is in good shape, it's seen better days. Still, I had more than my share of hot sex and several guys (Asian) latched on to me and I practically had to push them off of me, again proving my earlier point that bad behavior is not limited to farangs. I agree with others that the steamroom and sauna are a waste of time if you are looking for sex. They seem to be only where guys who do not want to commit to one person like to play. I just returned from 12 days in Bangkok. I went to Babylon twice. Although they open at 10:30 a.m., I don't think Thais start coming in until at least 3.

My first visit was later in the afternoon. It was irritating to have people crammed into that little cruising area upstairs. Why does Babylon close "the other side" until later? The black cruising area upstairs was CRAMMED with people (could hardly walk or maneuver).

Anyway, the first visit was just okay (so-so) for me. But again, I totally can't figure out how the Thai select who they go in a room with. There were some younger farangs walking around -- my impression being that they were newbies and they didn't appear to be successful in connecting. But a lot of other older ones were immediately connecting.

Another thing I don't understand is why so many Thai go in with other Thai in Babylon. It seems like it's a place for Thai/farangs.

I did notice there seemed to be a group from China. I did go in with a Vietnamese.

Does anyone know if that big tall (and build) French guy who walks around with the cute underwear gets non-stop sex? He seems to go there every day (I heard he lives in Bkk). In the sauna I am a newbie. I have never been in a gaysauna. If you are not in the jacuzzi/steamreom/sauna and you stay in the 'public area', what do you wear? Swimsuit or towel or are you naked everywhere in the sauna? On my next trip to BKK I want to visit Babylon or another sauna (Sansuk Pattaya) but want first to know what the rules are. Thanks to everybody for your advice to a sauna-newbie.
