Back home!

Was at the Babs on Friday as previously mentioned. It was incredibly good. Arrived at about 6:30 pm and after literally two minutes, oh my gosh!, I was given a smile by 3 farangs one of which even followed me for a few secs. As I just arrived I always needed to settle down a bit before doing anything, so all the smiles were turned down. But I did smile back though. Had a dinner then walked around ready for actions. A few Asian/Thai guys also showed interest in me but I would rather eat potatoes than rice that night. Eventually, had a good time with a young clean-cut lean and refreshing German (early 30’s) who spoke quite good English. Saw a few guys who were there on the previous night too. Agree with activ8 that guys at the Babs these days are not so attractive as those (me included ) in my old time in Bangkok. I only recognised two Thai guys on Friday night from my old time. Did not see any old-time farangs though. Maybe the best days to visit Babs are weekends and public holidays.

Sorry Thai Guy, I meant Patrick Sydney was hoping to meet you at Babylon...he seems to be overjoyed by the selection there.

Thai guy, obviously we have not(unfortunately) met. Something to make up for in the future maybe? It is a concern that attitudes at the new Babs have changed. Surly looks from the Asian guys, groups of Thai/Asian guys in corners/groups looking at farang with obvious distaste and talking amongst each other. At times I feeel very unwelcome there and it's not from what happens upstairs etc., It starts from the time I arrive and pay my entrance fee. At the old Babylon, I would be wai-ed, smiled at, have a joke with the cashier, etc. Now it's "just give me the correct money and get your ass out of my sight" look. As stated before, the best thing about Babs now is the Baracks and the foreigners who invite you back for the very late night fun. At the old Babs the gym was huge fun and a great pic up place. Now it's Asian/Thai muscle mary's. Even a Singaporean pal has said he wouldn't go back to babs because of the awful attitude.

It really is such a shame, as the New Babylon seems to be going the sane way as DJ Station. The attitude being, "we have our reputation - now just come and enjoy as we take your money and don't give a fuck about cleanliness, noise, overcrowding etc., etc., etc."

Thanx activ8 for telling me that the best thing of the Babs are the farangs staying there in the Barracks... not really the reason for me to leave Farangland for Bangkok to see Farangs in Babylon.. but well, as there are not really a lot of alternatives in Bkk, Babylon will se me again on Friday...

I have just returned home (Sydney) after three weeks in BKK.Went to Babylon quite a lot and felt very welcome and enjoyed the facilities, lunch,dinner,internet,pool.
Met someone special every time, the first night met a good looking 35 yo from Hongkong, spent the night with him in his hotel (Banyan Tree) He had to go back to HK the next morning, we screwed all night, didn't think this could be bettered but every day I had a new fantastic adventure.
One day in particular I had fun with three different good looking young Thai guys after which I was waiting for a shower to go home, another cute guy and his friend were also waiting and were talking about me in a friendly way in Thai,I asked what they said and one said,"We think you are so cute", so the three of us went into the shower together and then into another room, managed to leave and crawl into bed exhausted.
Another evening I walked around and went into a courtyard where there are tables and chairs, a table of 5 Thai guys were looking at me and laughing, I felt very embarrassed so made a retreat, one of the guys followed me and asked me to join them for a drink, they were a fantastic group of friends and I had a session with the guy who followed me.We then went to the pool party, all ended up naked with lots of sucking and friendly fun. One of the guys from the group gave me his card and I phoned him the next day, we went out to dinner that night and he came back to my hotel, he was one of the best tops I have experienced (I am both top and bottom)I found that most of the young Thai guys wanted me to top them, so enjoyed the change.
I had lots more adventures which I will relate as time goes on, every morning I had coffee at Silom Centre and every time saw or met up with a cute Thai boy.Sometimes just had a chat , a couple of times took boys to nearby short time hotel, cost 300baht for the room and gave the boys 500baht.Didn't enjoy these experiences so much as I wonder if the guy is only doing it for money, even though they pretend to like you.
By the way I stayed at an hotel, which I would rate as 2 Star.However it was very clean, the linen changed daily, Cable TV, refrigerator,air conditioned.Four gorgeous Burmese boys cleaned the room every day, I gradually became friendly with one, they spoke not a word of English.One day I passed him on the stairs and he smiled and the eye contact was more than normal.I made a knocking motion with my hand,went to my room and about half an hour later, there was a gentle knock on my door, in he came, showed me what he had to offer by whipping out this amazing big dick, hard as a rock.I put a condom thereon and away we went, he was particularly strong and passionate, I came, he didn't, I took off the condom and he chased me aound the room trying to get it in bareback.He had me on the bed a couple of times and I was scared that he would actually be able to get it in again, however fought him off and he had to leave.I am sure these guys from places like Burma have no idea about Aids, it is sad really as they are such nice kids.
Will post an article on the hotel Sathorn Saint View as it is excellent value and most of the reception staff are gay,I dated one of them, so no trouble bringing guys in.

After reading all the posts on the New Babylon and how some readers were disappointed, I was hesitant about going. In fact, when I first arrived in Bangkok, I went to the Chakran and found it boring. There were no farang and everyone seemed to be into Thai-Thai. The next night I checked out the Babylon and found it much better then the old one. As soon as I walked in until the time I left, I was cruised and followed. I met several,nice, cute guys who went out with me later and one came to my hotel, where we continued our fun. The dark rooms were intense with smooth, silky hands all over me. It was like a dream come true. The whole atmosphere is very inviting.

WHAT'S UP WITH THE LUBE? Was at Babylon and noticed a big change with the lube in the cabins. Like the thai guy I was with said "it's watered down and not slippery".

I agree. What's up with this? Cutting corners?

You'r right DJBoy, the lube is just like water,I thought it was water, doesn't work at all. I ended up taking my own lube there.Must say though that was the only minus I found at Babylon, they provide mouth wash and all and economise on the lube.

Patrick, I just investigated this problem and found the lube is mouthwash and the mouthwash is lube...just a simple mistake. I am sure it will be rectumfied soon.

Trust you to come up with that one Jtrack.I am still working on another trip, probably in May, can't wait to get back to the Burmese hunk at the hotel.

Patrick, I have tried to find the Sathorn Saint View online via Yahoo, and it doesn't have a web site. Any idea what their contact number/info would be? I'll be in bkk next week, and need a second hotel for fun stuff--am staying with friends at the Crowne Plaza, but can't bring boys back easily there. I was thinking Pinnacle, because it's only 750 bht, but am open to other suggestions. Thanks!

I had some experience with the Burmaese boys before, ther are not so commercial.

The Hotel is Sathorn Saint View Tel. 212-1855 201/1 Sathorn 15-17,Sathorn Rd.or Tel. 675-8921-30
It is very clean, very friendly , they change the linen daily and as I said these four gorgeous Burmese boys come in daily and clean the room and make the bed.
I would go back there, when I am with my wife we stay at a better hotel, mainly because the bathroom is just a shower onto the floor, I didn't mind that.It is an easy walk to the sky train.
One of the guys on the reception desk told me that 80% of the staff are gay.As I said I even dated this guy but it was not much fun, he wanted a permanent boy friend and wouldn't come across unless I undertook to be that.
The hotel is located at the Back of Saint Louis Hospital.

I was at Babylon last night (Saturday) and it was very busy and much more like its old self.

I wondered whether it was because I was there much earlier than usual - around 5pm? I know its a holiday weekend in places like Singapore, and I did see a lot of visitors there. Also, I was wondering if Chakran is closed and the guys were at Babylon instead - or whether perhaps they'd just been scared off Chakran by the raid. Anyway, it was rather more like the atmosphere of the old Babs.!
